About Baby Miracles, Inc. ("BMI")

Baby Miracles, Inc. ("BMI"), located in North San Diego County, California, was started in June 1999, at a time when there were only a handful of agencies in California and there was a need for an economical alternative for couples looking for a professional yet caring agency to help them to become parents with the assistance of an egg donor and/or surrogate mother. While the opportunity has presented itself over the years to grow BMI into a national company, we have elected to restrict growth in order to remain personal. All of our staff have, themselves, been involved in egg donation and/or surrogacy and exhibited a dedication and commitment to our clients and fertility assistants having a positive and rewarding experience throughout their journey.

BMI holds an A rating with the Better Business Bureau of San Diego and adheres to the guidelines for professionals set forth by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine ("ASRM"), which dictates appropriate practices and policies of agencies and professionals associated with third-party assisted reproduction.

Roxanne Sarro, Director/Surrogacy Program Administrator

Roxanne, who has been dedicated to assisting infertile couples since 1995, founded Baby Miracles in June 1999. Her personal experience as a four-time gestational surrogate, extensive knowledge with respect to third-party assisted reproduction, facilitation of domestic and international surrogacy arrangements, and 17 years experience as a Legal Assistant and Paralegal make her uniquely qualified to assist couples in a knowledgable, professional and compassionate manner.

Yvonne Heller, Surrogate Support Coordinator

Yvonne is a six-time gestational surrogate and has been with Baby Miracles since 2001. She approaches each egg donation arrangement with enthusiasm, compassion, and attention to detail. Her duties include Donor screening/recruiting; matching Prospective Parents to a Donor, locating legal, medical, and psychological professionals, and providing comprehensive coordination services for each egg donation arrangement.

Mary Hesse, Surrogate Support Coordinator

Mary, an experienced gestational surrogate, provides ongoing support services to our surrogate mothers. Her duties include presiding over monthly support group meetings, coordinating special events and activities for the surrogates and their families, visiting surrogates who are on bedrest or in the hospital, and attending deliveries and/or medical appointments with surrogates, as necessary.

Nancy Schiffer, MFT, Psychological Screening and Support Services - Associate

Nancy is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, specializing in infertility counseling. She has over 15 years experience counseling couples dealing with infertility, as well as assessing egg donors and surrogates. Nancy has had personal experience with infertility, which gives her added insight into the stressful process of infertility.

Ron Sarro, General Manager/Egg Donation Fund Administrator

Mr. Sarro has been an invaluable asset to Baby Miracles since its inception and his duties include business consulting, fund management of Egg Donor Client Accounts, bookkeeping, background investigations, and technical support.
